Arrest made in case of canine set on hearth in Queens road

A person wished in a horrific case of animal abuse that noticed a canine dragged down a Queens road and lit on hearth has been arrested, police mentioned Tuesday.

Officers had been on the lookout for him since Thursday morning, when cops say he was seen in South Ozone Park dragging the “motionless” canine close to 128th Avenue and 116th Avenue.

The person was allegedly then seen pouring an accelerant onto the canine and setting the animal on hearth earlier than working off.

The suspect, 29-year-old Isaiah Gurley, of Queens, was apprehended a day in the past on prices together with animal torture, aggravated cruelty to animals and arson with intent to wreck property.
