‘Sundown Blvd.’ publicizes prolonged run forward of Tony Awards as a result of excessive demand

The smash hit revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Sunset Blvd.” introduced Thursday its last extension as a result of excessive demand.

Theater lovers have a final likelihood to catch Tony Award nominee Nicole Scherzinger’s efficiency as “Norma Desmond” on the St. James Theatre till Sunday, July 20.

Directed by 2025 Tony Award nominee Jamie Lloyd, the efficiency is predicated on the Fifties movie of the identical title, about an growing older film star, Norma Desmond, hoping to return to the massive display.

Scherzinger’s hs obtained the Drama League Award for Distinguished Efficiency, a Theater World Award, and an Olivier Award for her interpretation of Desmond.

Scherzinger is nominated for her first Tony Award for Finest Efficiency by an Actress in a Main Position in a Musical for her function in “Sunset Blvd.”

The Tonys will happen Sunday from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Radio Metropolis Music Corridor. It will likely be hosted by Cynthia Erivo and air on CBS and Paramount +.
