Council Member Julie Received has launched a marketing campaign to succeed U.S. Rep. Nydia Velázquez within the seventh Congressional District, becoming a member of a aggressive race in some of the progressive districts within the metropolis.

Received launched her marketing campaign Monday afternoon, saying a “Lifetime of Care” platform that features common healthcare, common childcare, housing for all, expanded social safety and the abolition of ICE.
