Three sources conversant in the matter say investigators are trying into whether or not people linked to the break-in on the residence of NFL Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow are linked to any of the suspects working the alleged fencing operation. Officers talking on situation of anonymity cautioned the investigation is ongoing.

Dan Crifo, an FBI New York spokesman, confirmed the raid, saying the FBI and NYPD performed an investigation based mostly on a warrant out of the Japanese District of New York. Brooklyn US Lawyer spokesman John Marzulli declined remark.

Two sources stated extra arrests have been being made in Florida in reference to a South American transnational theft group that’s believed to be focusing on the houses of NFL and NBA gamers and different rich people.

Neither the U.S. legal professional’s workplace in Tampa nor the FBI’s Tampa workplace instantly responded to requests for remark Tuesday.

The NFL and NBA in November issued safety alerts to gamers advising them of break-ins, a few of which occurred whereas gamers have been on the highway with their groups. NBA star Luka Doncic together with different gamers like Bobby Portis and Mike Conley Jr. have had their houses focused.
