A person was shot by police Friday evening after allegedly pointing a gun at an NYPD sergeant throughout a foot chase by means of Brooklyn.

Police stated the 50-year-old man ran out of a Canarsie comfort retailer round 9:45 p.m., simply after close by officers on patrol heard a gunshot coming from the realm of East eightieth Avenue and Flatlands Avenue.

Numerous cops jumped out of their automobile and began chasing on foot.

“The officers verbally identified themselves and gave the male numerous verbal commands, to which he did not comply,” Chief of Patrol Philip Rivera stated at a press convention.
