Medical expert releases reason for loss of life for fallen Conn. firefighter

The state medical expert’s workplace has launched the reason for loss of life for the Plainville firefighter who was killed within the line of obligation on Sunday.

Based on the medical expert,  60-year-old volunteer firefighter Raymond “Ray” Moreau died from blunt trauma to his head, neck, torso and extremities. The style of loss of life was dominated an accident.

Moreau was engaged on scene at a home fireplace on Maria Street round 6:20 a.m. and was standing exterior the house close to a fireplace equipment when a bit of the fireplace truck broke free and hit Moreau.

State police stated the piece of the fireplace truck brought about catastrophic accidents to his legs. He was transported to the Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain, the place he died in surgical procedure.

Moreau was a 35-year veteran of the Plainville Hearth Division, a loving husband and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.

The Plainville City Council stated it can honor Moreau at a ceremony on Tuesday. The ceremony might be at Plainville Excessive Faculty’s Tinty Stadium at 7 p.m. and the general public is invited to attend.
