A Lengthy Island Rail Street prepare struck a automobile on the tracks Thursday night, resulting in partial suspensions alongside the Ronkonkoma Department that would affect Friday morning service.
The prepare hit the automobile after 8 p.m. in East Farmingdale, simply west of the Pinelawn station, in keeping with the MTA. Service was suspended in each instructions between Hicksville and Ronkonkoma in consequence. The automobile was on Wellwood Avenue when it was hit.

The MTA warned late Thursday that the incident may have an effect on morning service Friday. It was not clear why the automobile was on the tracks on the time of the collision.
