The union representing New York College’s (NYU) full-time, non-tenure observe school stated it should strike on March 23 if a good contract will not be settled.

The union, Contract School United – UAW (CFU-UAW), made the announcement on Feb. 27 after its twenty sixth bargaining session because the labor group was shaped in 2024. Members introduced the strike deadline throughout a rally with NYC Council Member Harvey Epstein and numerous political candidates.
