4 hikers have been rescued by officers after they admitted to authorities that they’d consumed magic mushrooms and have been affected by a “debilitating high.” The New York State Division of Environmental Conservation Forest Rangers mentioned that its rangers and native firefighters rescued the hikers within the Slide Mountain Wilderness, a park about 20 miles west of Woodstock, on Aug. 29. “The original caller admitted the group had consumed mushrooms and one of them was experiencing a debilitating high,” the company mentioned in an announcement.
