Two NYPD officers have been taken to a hospital in secure situation after a shootout with an armed man in a Jeep on Staten Island Thursday, authorities say. The suspect was shot by police and died. Officers responded to a name a few man with a gun on the House Depot car parking zone on Veterans Street West in Tottenville round 5:20 a.m., in response to the preliminary investigation.
