The FBI and NYPD raided a Diamond District enterprise Tuesday that investigators say labored with a South American transnational theft group that has been focusing on houses belonging to rich people throughout the nation.

Investigators stated they’re trying into whether or not any suspects concerned in latest burglaries of quite a few star athletes’ houses are linked to this alleged fencing location. A “fencing” operation entails the shopping for and promoting of stolen items.

One man was arrested Tuesday morning on West forty seventh Avenue close to Sixth Avenue. Dozens of FBI brokers and NYPD Main Case detectives searched the second-floor enterprise. A second man was taken into custody later within the day, officers conversant in the case stated.
