88-year-old New York resident injured in Connecticut crash

Two folks have critical accidents after a crash in Stamford on Thursday evening.

Police mentioned the crash occurred on Excessive Ridge Highway close to Cedarwood Drive round 10:34 p.m.

A 55-year-old Stamford resident was heading south in a 2008 Chevy Suburban, drifted throughout the centerline into the northbound lane and hit a 2019 Cadillac SUV pushed by an 88 year-old New York resident, police mentioned.

Each autos have been closely broken and the Stamford Hearth Division extricated the drivers from each autos.

Each drivers have been taken to Stamford Hospital, the place medical employees decided that their accidents have been critical, however not life-threatening, policed mentioned.

Excessive Ridge Highway was closed for a number of hours and has reopened.
