A 16-year-old was stabbed to loss of life throughout a struggle inside a neighborhood deli within the Bronx, authorities say.
Aliyah Williams’ household says they consider the lady was lured to the spot on Boston Street in Williamsbridge round 4 p.m. Tuesday. They are saying they don’t know why somebody would goal her. Legislation enforcement sources say there was an argument, and Aliyah allegedly threw water at one other lady. That lady pulled out a knife, sources say.
Aliyah, who lived a brief stroll from the scene the place she misplaced her life, suffered stab wounds to her head and her physique. Her grandmother is distraught.
“She’s a beautiful kid, nice child — good behaving, too,” Rose Anderson mentioned. “It’s said, really sad, to take someone’s life like that.”
No weapon has been recovered, and no arrests have been made. Police have been looking out beneath vehicles and in storm drains within the space as they performed their investigation.
In the meantime, the neighborhood is shaking its collective head on the violence.
“Is it that serious that I have to kill you? To get a point across?” requested neighbor Brian Jenkins.
One other neighbor says children typically run backwards and forwards in that space. He described it as “just scary.”
