Division of Homeland Safety Secretary Kristi Noem had a run-in with a five-fingered bandit whereas dinning out at a restaurant in Washington, D.C., on Sunday night time.

A thief swiped Noem’s purse, she confirmed on Monday, which contained roughly $3,000 in money. A DHS spokesperson stated the secretary had withdrawn the big quantity to “treat her family to dinner, activities, and Easter girls” whereas visiting the town.

In keeping with CNN, which first reported the incident, the purse additionally contained Noem’s passport, DHS entry badge, driver’s license, house keys, and medicine, amongst different issues.
