Physique of lacking Princeton College scholar discovered at close by lake

The physique of a lacking Princeton College scholar whom officers had been trying to find since final weekend was discovered at a close-by lake, based on the college.

Lauren Blackburn had been lacking since Saturday night, having final been seen round 6 p.m. within the space of the Firestone Library on Princeton’s campus.

In a letter to college students, Dean of Undergraduate College students Regan Crotty stated the 23-year-old’s physique had been discovered Friday morning at Carnegie Lake, which is subsequent to the college’s campus. A trigger or method of demise was not instantly given.

“Our hearts are heavy and we share our deepest condolences with Lauren’s family and friends,” the letter from Crotty to college students learn. “It is during these difficult times that we must draw strength and support from one another and from those in our community who are available to us for counsel and care.”

Blackburn, initially from Indiana, was interviewed by an area NBC station his senior 12 months of highschool after receiving a full scholarship to the distinguished college.
