An off-duty police officer fatally shot a 30-year-old man in Washington Heights Sunday evening, after the person allegedly confirmed a weapon, in response to the NYPD.
Police say the off-duty officer was exterior a residential constructing on West 173rd Road and Amsterdam Avenue round 9:46 p.m., when he was approached by two males on two separate mopeds.
