A 47-year-old Stafford Township man has been charged after, police declare, he accidently shot his 13-year-old daughter as he cleaned a firearm.
In response to regulation enforcement officers in Ocean County, New Jersey, Edgar Baerga, 47, of Stafford Township has been charged with aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a minor after he, allegedly, shot his 13-year-old daughter as he was cleansing a firearm in his residence.
Officers mentioned the incident occurred at about 2 p.m. on Saturday at a house and, police had been alerted to the incident after Baerga took his daughter to a close-by hospital after she was shot within the torso.
Police mentioned the lady was listed in secure situation.
Baerga has been charged and, officers mentioned, he has a court docket look pending.
Officers mentioned an investigation into the incident continues to be ongoing.
