A New Jersey-based actor who performed minor roles in a number of Hollywood movies is accused of taking pictures a lady within the face close to Stockton College, resulting in a lockdown on the college that lasted for a couple of hours on Thursday.

Ernest Heinz, 46, of Port Republic, New Jersey, was arrested and charged with tried murder, aggravated assault with a firearm, and different associated offenses.

The incident unfolded shortly earlier than 1 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 11, exterior the doorway of Stockton College on W. Jimmie Leeds Street in Galloway Township, New Jersey.

Heinz was then positioned at a house in Galloway Township’s Blue Herron Pines Improvement and brought into custody, police mentioned. The shelter-in-place at Stockton College was additionally lifted.

Police executed search warrants at three houses in Port Republic, a house in Galloway Township and two automobiles throughout the investigation. Heinz is at present lodged within the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
