New York State of Thoughts! Billy Joel surprises Manhattan pedicab taking part in his tune

Some of us prefer to get away, take a vacation from the neighborhood.

However these fortunate of us didn’t hop a flight to Miami Seashore or take a Greyhound on the Hudson River Line, they sat behind a Manhattan pedicab that simply so occurred to be taking part in the tune “New York State of Mind.”

After which Billy Joel pulled up alongside them.

The “Piano Man” posted video of the only-in-New-York encounter on social media Monday.

“We’re in a New York State of Mind…always,” he wrote within the caption.

The video, shot from the again seat of an SUV, exhibits Joel rolling down his window to greet the pedicab driver and his two passengers.

As soon as the driving force realized it was the singer of the tune blaring from his audio system, he reached out to shake his hand.  

“You see we are playing you, man,” the driving force stated.

New Yorkers have seen all of the film stars of their fancy vehicles and their limousines, however Joel pulling up as his tune was too good to be true even within the metropolis that by no means sleeps.  

“We love you,” one of many feminine passengers instructed Joel. “How are you feeling?”

“I feel fine,” Joel instructed Maher. “My balance sucks. It’s like being a boat.”

Joel appeared simply high-quality whereas cruising round New York. And he might have to contemplate including a brand new mode of transportation to the lyrics of his tune concerning the metropolis.

“If you ever want a pedicab ride,” the driving force commented, “just say when & I’ll make my limousine ready.”
