“The Bangladeshi American community is tight-knit across New York City—from Jamaica to Ozone Park to Parkchester—and we are collectively devastated by the tragic loss of Officer Didanul Islam,” Queens Assemblymember Jenifer Rajkumar mentioned Tuesday.
