Loads of portraits barring historic significance have lined the partitions of the White Home, however the sighting of a latest addition stands out from the remainder.
Photographers positioned within the Oval Workplace this week snapped a number of images of the President Donald Trump, or at the very least an image of him.
Seen hanging simply exterior the president’s workplace is the entrance cowl of a New York Publish concern that options Trump’s now-famous mugshot taken in August 2023 when he was arrested in Georgia on costs that he conspired to overturn the outcomes of the 2020 presidential election.
It’s not clear when the newspaper cowl, which hangs roughly eye-level in an image body, was hung up. One of many first images to catch the mugshot seems to have been taken earlier this month, on Feb. 4, when Trump welcomed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the Oval Workplace.

Trump’s deputy chief of workers, Dan Savino, shared a brief video that begins by displaying off the framed cowl earlier than shifting into the workplace of the president.
The aide to the president posted the video to X, previously Twitter, with the caption, “HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY! WELCOME TO THE BEAUTIFUL OVAL OFFICE.”
