A person was shot and killed by police after allegedly slashing an officer within the face with a 14-inch butcher knife at a Brooklyn precinct.
The NYPD stated the wounded officer was first approached round 5:30 a.m. Sunday within the rear of the 73rd Precinct off East New York Avenue in Brownsville.
Based on Chief of Patrol Philip Rivera, the person had initially tried to enter the precinct constructing via a locked door on the entrance earlier than heading round to the again. He managed to make his manner in via a again door and was confronted by a feminine officer.
