Man flips out in center of Lengthy Island church service, causes ,000 in harm

A 26-year-old Lengthy Island man has been arrested for allegedly going berserk throughout a church service, strolling as much as the altar and toppling non secular statues.

Authorities say the suspect went into Corpus Christie Church on Garfield Avenue, the place a service was being held round 5 p.m. Sunday. Sooner or later, cops say he turned irate and commenced inflicting a disturbance.

It is not clear what could have provoked the person, however authorities say he approached the altar and broke two non secular statues, inflicting about $10,000 in harm.

He was arrested with out incident.

No accidents had been reported.
