A person who was sucked into an MRI machine at a Lengthy Island medical workplace as a result of he was carrying a steel chain as a scan was in progress has died from his accidents, in keeping with police.

The incident occurred round 4:30 p.m. Wednesday on the Nassau Open MRI on Previous Nation Street in Westbury, Nassau County police stated. Officers had been informed {that a} 61-year-old man had entered an MRI room the place a scan was being carried out.
