A Pennsylvania man has been arrested after hidden cameras have been discovered inside the general public bogs at a preferred Jersey Shore boardwalk, in response to a spokesperson with the Ocean Metropolis Police Division.

Police stated {that a} girl reported discovering a recording system within the one of many bogs at sixth Road and the Boardwalk in Ocean Metropolis round 12:25 p.m. on June 12.

The girl, Fallon Conway, of Deptford, NJ, instructed NBC10 that the digital camera regarded unusual as a result of it gave the impression to be a pen that was protruding from behind a trash can.

“Immediately it was weird,” Conway stated. “Something was off.”

This led to officers checking each rest room alongside the boardwalk and several other extra cameras have been discovered within the bogs at tenth and eleventh streets, police stated.

Throughout the investigation, officers defined that they have been in a position to establish 38-year-old Harold Perkins, of Philadelphia, because the suspect.

Detectives from a number of companies performed a search and arrest warrant on the suspect’s dwelling and automobile positioned on the 4200 block of Glenview Road in Philly the place Perkins was arrested, officers stated.

Perkins was charged with invasion of privateness and endangering the welfare of kids.

“Be careful,” Conway instructed NBC10. “Be aware of your surroundings. You seriously never know when you are going to come across something like this.”
