A person who was accused of killing and dismembering his roommate in Groton and leaving a part of her physique in a suitcase close to a cemetery by their house has died.
Donald Coffel, 68, of Groton, died on Friday on the Corrigan Correctional Middle, in keeping with the Connecticut Division of Correction.
