Authorities are investigating a tragedy in Westchester County.
A lacking 3-year-old boy was discovered useless within the Mamroneck River after a quick search Thursday afternoon, police say.
Cops have been notified round 2:30 p.m. a couple of lacking boy who had left house. They are saying the kid’s 54-year-old uncle and 85-year-old grandfather referred to as authorities after they could not discover him.
Officers canvassed the world and located the boy within the river close to the Hillside Avenue Bridge. He was pronounced useless on the scene.
Investigators say it seems the kid left his house shortly after midday together with his canine and went to the Mamaroneck River close to First Avenue, about two blocks from his house. He probably fell in and drowned, then was carried downstream, police say. It wasn’t clear what occurred to the canine.
The Westchester County district legal professional’s workplace is aiding within the ongoing investigation.
