New Jersey police had some assist catching an alleged hit-and-run driver over the weekend.

When Burlington County officers arrived on the scene, the report says they have been met by the caller, who shared that she had heard a loud crash outdoors of her residence. When she bought outdoors, she noticed a automobile rushing off and located injury to a parked automobile.

Police mentioned a short while later, a person named PJ appeared atop a horse and knowledgeable the lady that he had witnessed the automobile crash. He informed her that he noticed a gray Honda Accord crash into the parked automobile and drive off.

With the assistance of his horse “Shiny,” police mentioned PJ was capable of journey after the automobile and get shut sufficient to acquire a partial license plate quantity, which he then handed on to police.  

Police mentioned with the knowledge PJ shared, they have been capable of establish the suspect, and a short while later, they arrested 22-year-old Italo Lalvay Guaillasaca. He was charged with careless driving, driving with no license, failure to report an accident and leaving the scene of an accident.

“We want to thank the witnesses in this case for being observant, coming forward, and making the calls to our officers. We’d especially like to thank PJ and his sidekick ‘Shiny’ for their efforts to get us the information that ultimately solved the case,” police wrote.

In accordance with police, PJ acknowledged that he was merely visiting Riverside to point out his horse to his buddies when he witnessed the accident happen.
