Governor Kathy Hochul visited Queens Heart Mall in Elmhurst on Thursday, partaking with native residents amid their vacation buying to debate the rising price of residing in New York and to advertise her proposal to ship Inflation Discount checks geared toward easing monetary burdens for New Yorkers.

Borough President Richards praised Hochul’s management on addressing the excessive price of residing, echoing her name to motion for the legislature to approve the plan.

The governor arrived at Queens Heart Mall through subway, disembarking at Woodhaven Boulevard station, simply steps from the mall entrance.
