4 firefighters have been harm battling a raging hearth in Harlem late Wednesday, authorities say.
Emergency crews have been known as to a long-vacant five-story constructing on West 139th Avenue round 9 p.m. Firefighters have been on scene in three minutes, officers stated, and encountered heavy hearth on all 5 flooring and thru the roof.
Fireplace unfold to each buildings to the left and proper of the constructing that was initially on hearth. Almost 200 firefighters and EMS personnel responded. No civilians have been harm.
The injured firefighters suffered principally sprains and strains. One had some burns to the hand. They have been taken to space hospitals and are anticipated to be OK.
