Residents in Edison Township proceed to be with out water as crews work to restore a damaged water essential break that occurred on Christmas Eve.

The 20-inch water essential break occurred Tuesday night time at Woodbridge Avenue and M Lane, sending water spilling into his neighborhood.

Crews have been working across the clock within the chilly to make repairs, however the work continues as of Friday afternoon.

Some residents have been unable to bathe, flush their bathrooms and even make a cup of espresso.

The mayor of Edison, Sam Joshi, mentioned the blame for the water essential break falls on growing older infrastructure and freezing temperatures. He mentioned crews are working to put in an insertion valve to stem the movement of water from the damaged pipe.
