Police are in search of a person who walked right into a Queens house in the midst of the afternoon and set hearth to it — with a 78-year-old lady and a 77-year-old man nonetheless inside, authorities say.
Each victims had been pronounced useless on the scene on 254th Avenue in Bellerose after flames had been doused Monday afternoon. Autopsies will likely be performed to find out what killed them.
Their identities weren’t instantly clear, nor was any attainable connection to the arsonist recognized. Neighbors say the couple lived within the house for greater than 40 years.
