The Connecticut Pizza State license plate is now accessible.
Gov. Ned Lamont declared Connecticut the Pizza Capital of the US and now the pizza plate is accessible as of Monday.
The pizza state license plate says “The Pizza State” and has a picture of a slice of pepperoni pizza in addition to the brand for Connecticut Foodshare, a corporation that works to scale back meals insecurity all through the state.
The fee is $65 for the standard plate and $134 for a brand new personalised self-importance plate. You’ll be able to order the plate on Connecticut Foodshare’s web site right here at ctfoodshare.org/pizzaplate.
You may also donate to Connecticut Foodshare on-line at ctfoodshare.org/donate.
“We’re proud to partner with the State of Connecticut on this fun and meaningful way to celebrate our love for pizza while shining a light on hunger in our communities,” Jason Jakubowski, president and CEO of Connecticut Foodshare, mentioned in a press release. “Not only do these plates showcase our state pride, but they also help drive awareness to Connecticut Foodshare’s mission of fighting food insecurity in every corner of the state.”
“Connecticut Foodshare provides a safety net for families when they need it the most, and this initiative is a creative way that we can raise funds and provide financial support for this nonprofit so that it can continue on its important mission,” Gov. Ned Lamont mentioned in a press release.
