The person killed in a driver’s alleged high-speed crash coming off a New York Metropolis bridge was an avid bike owner and died “doing something he loved,” his household stated Sunday.

Kevin Cruickshank, 55, was driving his bike by Chinatown Saturday morning when police stated the motive force of a Chevy Malibu struck and killed the Morningside Heights man and a 63-year-old girl sitting on a bench. She was later recognized by police as 63-year-old Might Kwok of Brooklyn.

Witnesses described watching the automobile race off the bridge at a excessive fee of velocity earlier than the motive force misplaced management, crashing into each victims, in addition to an NYPD van that was knocked into a close-by jewellery retailer.
