Fears are rising for Edan Alexander, the final residing U.S. citizen held hostage in Gaza, after Hamas mentioned it misplaced contact with the group holding him following Israeli strikes on the world they have been based mostly in. “We are still trying to reach them,” Abu Obeida, spokesman for Hamas’ army wing, the Qassam Brigades, mentioned in an announcement Tuesday, including that that they had come underneath “direct bombardment” from Israel.
