Huge NJ wildfire 100% contained after burning 15,300 acres in Ocean County

After practically three weeks, one of many largest wildfires in New Jersey’s historical past is now fully contained. On Monday, Could 12, 2025, the New Jersey Forest Hearth Service confirmed the Jones Street Wildfire in Ocean and Lacey townships in Ocean County was 100% contained after burning a complete of 15,300 acres.
