Two males terrorized a Queens household in their very own residence, utilizing zip ties and duct the dad and mom and youngsters whereas looting money, jewellery and even the household’s automobile, in line with police.

The suspects allegedly flashed weapons as they pushed their manner into the house on twelfth Avenue close to 154th Avenue within the Whitestone neighborhood simply after 9 a.m. Monday, police mentioned, whereas the couple and their youngsters have been preparing for the day. The dastardly duo made the household go right down to the basement the place they have been tied up because the robbers ransacked the house.

With the household tied up downstairs, the pair took $15,000 in money and jewellery from the protected in the home, police mentioned.

Police informed NBC New York the house invaders additionally stole the household’s automobile. It was recovered lower than a mile manner.

“I’m just on my way to work, getting out of my car, and I just see this man running out of his house with duct tape on him so, I was like I have to help,” mentioned neighbor John Nardone, who known as the police.

Officers arrived inside minutes of Nardone calling police, however not earlier than the suspects have been capable of take off with their stolen objects within the household’s automobile, which they ditched not lengthy after.

The victims didn’t want to speak to NBC New York hours after the incident. Nardone mentioned the daddy appeared “really rattled” and “very nervous.”

Neighbors have been shocked to see crime tape on quiet road and have been remaining vigilant. It was unclear if the suspects cased the neighborhood earlier than the house invasion and randomly selected their victims.

Investigators have been on the scene later Monday gathering proof. No arrests had but been made.
