There was a safety incident at Tweed New Haven Airport on Thursday morning, the terminal was briefly closed for a safety sweep and all flights are briefly delayed, based on a social media submit from the airport.
No data was launched about what occurred, however the airport stated there was a “security incident” round 11 a.m.
“Out of an abundance of caution, the terminal was temporarily closed for a full security sweep,” the airport stated within the submit.
TSA is rescreening all passengers within the terminal.
Tweed New Haven Airport stated normal safety protocols have been activated and are being following.
