A lady has died and three youngsters are injured after a head-on crash in New Fairfield on Monday night time.

State police stated a 17-year-old male from New Fairfield was driving a Hyundai Palisade northbound on Ball Pond Street close to Harvest Street round 9:30 p.m.

On the identical time, a 62-year-old lady from New York was driving a Jeep Compass southbound on the identical street.

In accordance with state police, the 2 automobiles collided head-on simply north of the intersection of Ball Pond Street and Harvest Street.

Troopers stated the motive force of the Jeep Compass was pronounced lifeless on the scene. She was recognized as Diane Staab, of Mahopac, New York.
