Authorities have arrested a person in reference to the face slashing of a vacationer on an Higher West Facet sidewalk a day in the past, officers stated Thursday.

“I recognize his personality right away. I didn’t expect him to hold a knife like that,” stated the person, who didn’t want to be recognized. “I think he was doing well, but I don’t know what happened.”

That very same individual stated he spoke to Zinberg’s household after a run-in with him in 2023.
