The New York Giants have reportedly lower “Tommy Cutlets.”
The workforce launched Tommy DeVito on Tuesday morning, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported.
DeVito joined the Giants in 2023 as an undrafted free agent and went on to start out six video games as a rookie. The legend of “Tommy Cutlets” grew from there as he went 3-3 in these begins with eight landing passes and three interceptions on the season.
DeVito made simply two begins in 2024 because the Giants’ QB3 behind Daniel Jones and Drew Lock. He went 0-2 and didn’t throw a landing throughout three complete appearances.
This offseason, DeVito was in a crowded QB room with three additions: free agent Russell Wilson, free agent Jameis Winston and first-round draft decide Jaxson Dart out of Ole Miss.
DeVito was born in Livingston, New Jersey, round 20 miles away from the Giants’ house in East Rutherford. He performed highschool soccer at Don Bosco Prep in Bergen County and dedicated to play school soccer at Syracuse. He was at Syracuse from 2017 to 2021 earlier than spending his remaining collegiate season at Illinois.
DeVito is considered one of many cuts the Giants should make on the NFL’s cutdown day. Groups have till 4 p.m. ET on Tuesday to trim their rosters all the way down to 53 gamers.
