New York police on Monday have been nonetheless searching for a person who allegedly threw a intercourse toy throughout a WNBA sport, putting a little bit lady in attendance, official stated.

The NYPD on Friday launched a photograph and a brief video clip of a person carrying a “Beavis and Butt-Head” T-shirt and Ohio State cap on the New York Liberty-Dallas Wings sport on Tuesday at Barclays Heart in Brooklyn.

That suspect on Tuesday at about 8:45 p.m. ET, “inside 620 Atlantic Avenue, NYPD 78 Precinct, an unidentified individual threw an object which struck a 12-year-old female victim in the right leg,” in keeping with police.

The search was nonetheless lively on Monday, police stated.

The incident in Brooklyn was the newest of males throwing intercourse toys towards WNBA gamers over the previous two weeks.

The pattern appeared begin on July 29 when a intercourse toy landed on the ground of a Golden State Valkyries sport in opposition to the Atlanta Dream in School Park, Georgia.

There have been related incidents in Phoenix, Chicago and Los Angeles.

Two males, to this point, have been arrested in connection to the Georgia and Phoenix incidents.

“The security of everybody in our arenas stays a high precedence,” a WNBA spokesperson stated.

“We’re working carefully with native and federal regulation enforcement to pursue all acceptable actions — together with arrest and prosecution with felony prices the place relevant — in opposition to anybody engaged on this conduct or in any other case concerned in sponsoring this reckless and unacceptable habits.”
