Suffolk County Government Ed Romaine is overtly courting New York Metropolis companies, providing them tax breaks if Democratic nominee Zohran Mamdani is elected mayor.

Romaine, who has been vocal about his opposition to commuter tax and congestion pricing in NYC, made his place clear throughout an interview with John Catsimatidis on his radio present “The Cats Roundtable.”

To Catsiaditis’ remark that Florida is recruiting NYC enterprise house owners, Romane added that “Come to Florida is good but come on out to Suffolk County isn’t that far of a move.” The county government mentioned that if Mamdani wins, he’ll “approach business owners in New York City and offer them tax breaks.”

Mark Jaffe, President, The Better New York Chamber of Commerce advised the Press that he doesn’t discover Romaine’s stance stunning.
