A person in Newfield Borough in Gloucester County was arrested after pouring gasoline on his spouse and allegedly holding up a lighter and threatening to set her and the home on fireplace, police mentioned.

Police from Franklinville mentioned they had been known as to the 200 block of Northwest Boulevard in Newfield Borough at round 5:28 a.m. on Friday, July 25.

When police arrived, the suspect, 54-year-old Dominic Polidori, barricaded himself inside the house, officers mentioned.

Gloucester County SWAT arrived on the scene at round 7 a.m., and Polidori was ultimately taken into custody at round 12:15 p.m., police mentioned.

Franklin Township Police Chief Matthew DeCesari confirmed to NBC10 that the sufferer was Polidori’s spouse and that she had utilized for a restraining order yesterday, however it was not capable of be served earlier than the assault.
