Bus accident at Port Authority leaves 29 harm, FDNY says; NJ Transit delays anticipated

A bus accident at Port Authority Bus Terminal, within the coronary heart of Manhattan, leaving dozens of individuals injured, the FDNY stated.

The accident befell round 8:49 a.m. within the neighborhood of West forty first and Dyer Avenue.

In line with the FDNY, 29 individuals have been injured. Solely minor accidents have been reported.

In line with Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, two NJ Transit buses crashed on the ramp main from the Lincoln Tunnel to the Port Authority Bus Terminal shortly earlier than 9 a.m.

Port Authority Police and emergency response groups are on scene because the investigation continues.

Chopper 4 was over the scene the place obvious passengers may be seen outdoors of the buses and lined up on the scene.

NJ Transit delays are anticipated.

This newest incident comes three weeks after one other multi-bus accident shut down Port Authority on the peak of the morning commute on July 2.

Twelve individuals have been harm in that crash.
