Authorities are investigating a case of vandalism on the Bronx workplace of U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
The Democratic congressional rep’s Westchester Sq. marketing campaign workplace was doused in purple paint in a single day, police mentioned Monday.
Video confirmed the facade of the constructing lined in purple paint. A lone signal held on the steel door gate attacking AOC over her stance on Gaza. No accidents had been reported.
Police say their investigation is ongoing.
The congresswoman hadn’t commented on the incident on her social accounts as of early Monday.
Ocasio-Cortez, who lately made headlines for endorsing Zohran Mamdani within the New York Metropolis mayor’s race, has represented town’s 14th congressional district since she assumed workplace after her 2018 election.
