A 16-year-old woman is preventing for her life, and a 17-year-old woman is recovering after the 2 had been shot late Sunday close to Manhattan’s Stonewall Inn, hours after the annual Pleasure March handed by means of the neighborhood.

Gunfire erupted round 10:15 p.m. within the West Village, which was busy with revelers celebrating the top of Pleasure celebrations close to the landmarked inn. The youthful woman was hit within the head and critically injured. The older sufferer was final stated to be in secure situation and is anticipated to be OK. It wasn’t clear the place she was struck.

Police had not confirmed any arrests as of early Monday. It is not clear what prompted the taking pictures, nor if the women had been the supposed targets.

The NYPD will work quickly and tirelessly to bring the suspects to justice.”
