Police have arrested a suspect accused of stealing $23,000 price of golf golf equipment from a sporting items retailer in Norwalk.
The theft occurred on Feb. 17 at Golf Galaxy on Connecticut Avenue, in line with police.
Detectives started an investigation with the help of New York State Police and recognized a suspect.
The 41-year-old man from Bronx, New York is related to a sequence of business burglaries focusing on golf tools retailers throughout the New York space, in line with police.
Police obtained an arrest warrant and the suspect turned himself in on Wednesday.
He’s charged with housebreaking, first-degree larceny, and second-degree felony mischief. He was launched on $200,000 bond and is scheduled to seem in court docket on July 9.
