Officers in Seaside Heights needed to shutdown the city’s famed boardwalk round midnight Sunday night time to assist guarantee public security, after police stated they made dozens of arrests over the course of the weekend. “I’ve been down here the last few days, it’s been crazy. We’ve been trying to stay safe,” stated boardwalk customer Grace Zarrillo. “I feel like we’ve just seen people getting into fist fights. We’re staying away from them.”

“About an hour early we had to shut down, it can hurt us 20-30%. It’s a big weekend for us! But we gotta do what the chief says!” stated Frankie Rainey, who works on the boardwalk.
