A Columbia College pupil who faces potential deportation for her involvement in a pro-Palestinian protest can’t be detained by immigration officers for now as she fights the Trump administration in courtroom, a federal choose dominated Tuesday.

U.S. District Choose Naomi Reice Buchwald mentioned in Manhattan courtroom that the federal government had not laid out sufficient information about its claims towards Yunseo Chung.
